As much as I love winter I'm starting to wish I lived somewhere much warmer right now.
IT HAS BEEN SO FRICKIN COLD IN MELBOURNE LATELY!
As I'm typing this I'm breathing dragon smoke out of my mouth, and my fingers are about to drop off from the cold! RIDICULOUSNESS!
Anyways, On with the blog...
I went out for lunch yesterday, to the famous Melbourne cafe - Hopetoun Tearooms. Located in The Block Arcade on Collins street, this little cafe is very popular with the tourists (as well as locals) and is a must see if you're ever in Melbourne.
The tearoom has been operating since 1893 !!!
They have an amazing window display of beautiful cakes, slices and macaroons.
My gorgeous Nanny treated us to some delicious lunch and cakes, and of course some hot english breakfast tea.
In order, Erin (my sister), Nanny Pat, Myself, Stevie (My cousin)
We had to queue in line for about 15 minutes waiting for a table, but it was well worth the wait.
For lunch I had a delicious toasted croissant with cheese and tomato, and a side of salad.
And, for dessert afterwards I had the tastiest raspberry and pistachio cheesecake

Overall, lunch was delicious and I recommend you visit The Hopetoun Tearooms if you're ever in Melbourne.
Thanks guys
